What size storage units are available?

We have four unit sizes: 5ft, 10ft, 20ft and 40ft. Please refer to our unit options tab for more details.

Do I need a padlock?

We supply a padlock which is housed in a special lock-box but we also advise that you add your own padlock.

Do I need storage insurance?

All goods must be insured whilst in storage. Many home insurance policies will extend their cover to a self storage facility. If you arrange insurance yourself, all that we require is written proof that your goods are insured whilst in our storage facility (address required). Alternatively, we can add you to our insurance. The current price is shown on the Storage Price List.

When can I access my storage unit?

You can access your unit 7 days a week between 6am and 10pm.

What are your office opening times?

Our Retford office is open from Monday to Friday between 9am and 5pm and on Saturday between 9am and 1pm.

Can I book my storage online?

It is possible to reserve a unit via our website. We will then be in touch the next day to secure a reservation deposit and take your details.

Is there a minimum rental period?

The minimum rental period is one week.

How much notice do you need to get a storage unit?

Providing we have the availability, you can sign up for a unit any time during office hours and have immediate access.

What do I need to bring to sign up for a storage unit?

You will need two forms of ID, i.e. driving licence or passport and utility bill.

What kind of payment methods are available?

We accept debit cards, cash and bank transfers.

Is there anything I shouldn’t store in my unit?

You should not store any of the following:

• Any living creatures.
• Combustible or flammable substances such as gas, paint, petrol, oil, cleaning solvents or compressed gases.
• Firearms, explosives, weapons or ammunition.
• Chemicals, radioactive materials, toxic waste etc.
• Any illegal item or substances such as tobacco or alcohol and unlicensed or unsafe goods (toys, electrical goods etc).
• Goods which are environmentally harmful.

Where do I need to go to complete the sign-up process?

RETFORD - To sign up for a storage unit in Retford you will need to come to our office, which is based on the storage site.

GAINSBOROUGH - We can either meet you at the site in Gainsborough at a mutually convenient time or you can come to our office in Retford to complete the sign up.

Do you have an office in Gainsborough?

Our Gainsborough storage facility is unmanned. Please contact our office in Retford.
